A Politician Gives a Political Response
Frist says Judges in Schiavo Case Acted Fairly
DeLay merely suggests there should be some backlash and the left goes nuts saying he called on people to put out contracts on judges. We can argue about political pressure on judges, but there comes a certain point they are so far out of line they need to be taken off the bench. If that weren't true, there would be no impeachment provisions.
But Frist, not willing to take the heat, stands down in the face of his master. He knows the judiciary is king, and he has just paid his homage.
