Voice of Hubris

This issue of Voice of Hubris is supplied by Voice of the Faithful. They have created a survey on what the next Pope should be like. As if it matters.

This organization was brought to fame (and then faded into irrelevance) by suggesting that someone priests committing pedophilia has something to do with not enough laity running the finances of the Church. I mean, as opposed to say, fidelity to the vow of celibacy and having some rudimentary education in the sacredness of sex. And heck, for that matter, that prayer wouldn't help either.

I don't remember who said this but it goes something like, "If you want a better priest, start by praying for the one you have."
