ACLU: Legalize Child Porn, Think of the Pedophiles

The case is New York Vs Ferber, 458 U.S. 747. The ACLU in an amicus brief to the Supreme Court argued that the possession of child pornography should be legalized. Twilight of Liberty summarizes:

" The ACLU's position is this: criminalize the production but legalize the sale and distribution of child pornography. This is the kind of lawyerly distinction that no one on the Supreme Court found convincing. And with good reason: as long as a free market in child pornography exists, there will always be some producers willing to risk prosecution. Beyond this, there is also the matter of how the sale of child pornography relates either to free speech or the ends of good government. But most important, the central issue is whether a free society should legalize transactions that involve the wholesale sexploitation of children for profit." ACLU objects to the idea that porn movie producers be required to maintain records of the ages of its performers; this would be "a gross violation of privacy."

To the ACLU, violating an 8 year old on tape is bad, but to support the production of that tape by buying it is ok. Needless to say the Supreme Court rejected this obvious stupidity, but it makes it clear that this organization doesn't see a problem with supporting the child porn industry because legal regulations would be a "gross violation of privacy".

Sounds like Planned Parenthood's arguments when covering up for child rape. We would hate for the privacy of pedophiles to be violated, afterall. That's much more important than protecting kids.

Actually, I doubt the ACLU thinks that "violating an 8 year old on tape is bad." These creeps have stepped up to the plate for NAMBLA, don't forget. They are working toward a world where the Bible is banned and children will be raped on prime time TV. Not to put too fine a point on it, the ACLU is evil.

Which explains their support of Christian street preachers in Las Vegas... errr.. ummm?

It's obsurd that they would even discuss legalizing such a thing! This is the saddest thing yet, our poor children.
Thanks for the info.

Interesting. Bien-pensant thinking suggests that purchase and consumption of drugs should be decriminalised, while drug trafficking should be severely punished; at the same time, the sale of sexual services by "sex-trade workers" should be decriminalised, while those who purchase (or even inquire about the purchase) of those services should be severely punished. It's all becoming too confusing.

ACLU supports free speech for everyone, weather what they have to say si discusting otr pleasant. Without such an organization we'd lice in a world where youd be jaield for saying "I hate america". ACLU openly says they do NOT support NAMBLA, but if someone, ANYONE comes to them because their rights were violated, they will help you. And so they defended RUSH LIMBOUGH'S medical records from the press. Protected an outspoken conservative. Bill of rights for everyone, for the presdent, for me, for you, and pedophiles too. If you dont like pedophiles, don't become one. If what they do is illegal, by all means do arrest them but they will go through the courts with the same right you and me have.

Yeah they may support a first ammendment right on it's face, but they take it to far as to say legalizing child porn is good, or saying that a parent should have no say whatsoever if their 13 year old daughter is trying to get an abortion. The evil they support and perpetrate far outwheighs any good they may do. Not everybody should have rights; MEANING that their are somethings people should not have the freedom to do, such as produce, sell, and view child porn!

UCLA'S proposed freedoms are nothing but bondage to a screwed up way of thinking. Our fore fathers knew from the beginning of the founding of our country that certain freedoms should not be granted. How about some of the restraints of our government for example? If they had to much freedom what might they do with it? The same goes for average everyday people because they are actually what make up government. Makes sense huh? I don't have the freedom to go on a murdering spree do I? Seems like a limitation to my freedoms though. Yet it is a good thing. Hmm where does this right and wrong come from in the human nature? It just seems to be there even though we don't know where it comes from. Yet in some people that knowledge is severely damaged. The UCLA's knowledge of right and wrong is severely damaged. We are in a battle people for right and wrong, and the battle is for the minds of men. Saying child pornography is ok is saying that it is ok for people to entertain those thoughts. If you think about something long enough you make plans. If you plan long enough you find some way to enact those plans. And then your child is abducted by some one addicted by erototoxins released by viewing their child pornography and acts out their fantasies (plans). Doctors know that pornography has physical effects on the brain mimicking drugs which causes addiction. http://commerce.senate.gov/hearings/testimony.cfm?id=1343&wit_id=3910
Many of you who have experienced it know what I am talking about. As a child I had to deal with this myself growing up and being imprinted early. Thank God I am free of its control but I still battle with those thoughts and I am married now. I know a lot of you still have your common sense about you but there are many who have lost it. God have mercy on them that they will not be servants to the lusts of their flesh and become servants to the enemy of mankind who uses demonic thought suggestion to cause humanity to destroy it self. May instead they know the salvation of Jesus Christ and be freed from the bondage that binds their minds.

The ACLU was founded by 3 communists in the early 1900's as a plot to overthrow democracy. They founded the ACLU after repeated attempts to spread communist propaganda wound up with them getting arrested. They do not fight for any rights. They may appear to on the surface because they have to or it will be too obvious that their goal is to turn America into a communist country. The fact that they defend the sale and distribution of child porn just shows how little they care. Communist beliefs aim to destroy the family unit, which explains the ACLU's views on child porn and abortion, They do not allow beliefs in God, which explains the ACLU's constant struggle against all faiths. We must keep in mind that, regardless of whether they defend actual civil rights now and then, most of the time they fight against them and their main objective is still to turn our country into a communist dictatorship. All of the founding members of the ACLU were communists so ask yourselves, why would any communists create an organization set on defending our democratic constitution? The answer is...they WOULDN'T. It's part of a war. The cold war never ended. It only changed. It's now being fought in courthouses.
