DI: My Comment up about the cartoons
You can read my comments on running the cartoons in the DI. It's the second blurb, the attribution is on the second page (i.e. it starts with journalists and telling stories).

The U of I should be thoroughly ashamed. I loved the Dissent statement the two student editors in question gave at the time and posted it on my blog. These are the kinds of young people who grow up to make a difference, whereas the Dhimmi-wits who have suspended them are typical of those against whom we must strive in order to make that difference.
Whew, that was a long thought!
